Flappy Vangos

I used to have an Outwell dome type tent. I've moved onto a slightly larger Vango Eos, but find it flappy. My Outwell was pretty much taut in every direction but try as I might I always get left with loose flappy bits of 'canvas' on my Vango.
Is it me? I've looked at a few other Vango tents on sites and they seem to have the same thing.
