errrr off the top of my head: basic provisions as they can be totally empty on arrival, so: (unless you are happy to dash straight to supermarket and stock up on these) toilet roll/ kitchen roll / washing up liq, sponge, dishcloths, tea towels, any other cleaning stuff you might want, tea/coffee/sugar, usual toiletries, any specific food that you may want, salt/ketchup/tinned food for kids if required.

Check your inventory with whoever you have booked with but you normally need to take or hire bed linen, towels, bathmats etc. Some vans lack a sharp knife so take your own. Corkscrew obviously very important ;-)

I usually take the stuff I could absolutely not live without at home - a good sharp knife, my sauté pan, that sort of thing. The chopping boards are often those glass worktop saver things, so I often take one of our plastic ones.

The bedding is often not standard UK size in the mobile homes in France, so it might be easier to either take your own bedding (we often do) or hire the linen.

I usually take dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, oil, clingfilm, foil and some store cupboard stuff as it's pointless buying that stuff once you get there for the sake of a week.

Chopping board x 2 (one for bread). Veg knife and a cooks knife. Bath mats. Washing liquid, loo rolls, kitchen rolls, salt, tea, milk. Roast a chicken and take it cold, that way you've got a first meal with new tatties.

One of those folding crates to put shoes in. We always have endless amounts of shoes for some reason. Oh, liquid soap and hand towels and tea towels, they never supply enough. Oven gloves.

Who did you book with? Just curious as I am keen to "revisit old holiday memories".
