Is it awful without air con? I've got two dogs too. Will they suffer terribly in the heat?

Can anyone recommend please?

We have been and it was fine. Big walks at either end of the day and frequent trips to the river in the daytime. We however have a sun loving working cocker (it must be a trait as we now have two!) who needed forcibly moving into the shade. The only issue was things like the food shop- tragically we all love the experience of shopping in a foreign country and with the dog, one of us had to stay in the car.
Thin skinned dogs or any who really dislike the heat I would say was a no-go. Otherwise go for it, we would definitely do it again :)

Val de Cantobre nr. Millau
We actually came across the site as Eurocamp customers so it was mega expensive. It's owned by RCN, a Dutch firm and we just book through them direct now :)

Ooh - we've been there MrsFox. It was lovely - really relaxing, and ideal for getting out with a dog. Only thing is it's quite remote (which does mean peace and quiet) so takes quite a long time to get anywhere - about half an hour to Millau, for example. We were there a couple of years back at the end of August and it was actually the cold weather in the mornings that prompted us to leave a day early (it was 5 deg C!); nice and warm once the sun got going though!
