Due to visit PILs and we thought rather than stay at their place, stay near their place. They live near Evesham and Broadway in the Cotswolds - any good campsites in spitting distance?

actually come to think of it there is a Caravan Club site AT Broadway - we stayed there years ago - nice site, great standard.

Thanks JT - but that's only caravans I think....

Anyone know of any campsites around there. Must be some, surely?

We stayed at Hayles Fruit Fram last bank holiday withg our tent. Quite basic - just a field. but had loos and hot showers which were clean. And the tea room attached to the fruit farm was fab!! It's near Winchcombe. Was cheap, too.

Wow thanks snuffy - I've just checked on RAC routefinder and Winchcombe is just 11 miles from where PILs live - so good location.

Glad you liked the look of it. There is a farm shop as well which sells the basics and nice fresh items. We got some early strawberries. I made it sound a bit crap by saying basic - it IS just a field but has a gravel road round it. It's also not very big and when we there, was mostly families. If you've got a little person in your family, you can hear the sound of steam trains from a preserved railway. Our DS is 4 and he was beside himself! Especially as it was an anniversary weekend and the trains were really frequent! Winchcombe itself is also nice...more tea rooms!!

Hi - we just stayed at Folly Farm near Bourton on the Water, not sure how near Evesham that is but is in Cotswolds. Was lovely, ask for a pitch in the bottom fied which was more woody and adventurous.

How far from Broadway/Evesham? I live in the Cotswolds and there seem to be loads of campsites which are probably with 45 mins drive of there so I guess it depends how close you want to be.
