Well, that's it really. I really love the look of this tent but need a bigger one. I like my 8 man 2 bed tent with space to stand up in, but the thought of putting it up and down puts me off camping altogether. Anyone know of a Quechua type tent that is bigger?

How many do you need to sleep?

pop up tents tend not to have a porch and are fine for fine weather camping, we have got a 3 second one which will sleep four (2 adults, 2 young children)

How about a single dome with a porch?

Well, there's actually only the 2 of us, me and dd I just like to have a living area, where we can eat ect if it rains, and some storage space, although these things are not necessary, but I really do want to be able stand up - I can't stand getting dressed and stuff in a small tent where I can't stand up!!

There are loads of tents that are big enough to accomodate you and dd BUT in terms of popups nothing beats a Khyam - but they are a little pricey. We got ours on ebay. I call it our palace but it does sleep 10 and then sit 10 elsewhere iyswim. they do smaller versions so have a look at their site - here you go: tents

Then go looking on ebay!

the advantage is speed with which you can put them up which is unbeliveable.

ooo, the Kyham does look good. Very pricey though (but worth it by the looks of it) will put it in my favourites for if I'm a bit more flush in the future

We're going to get a Khyam at some point as a weekender, the trick is to buy in the down season- after the Christmas gift rush but before the holiday planning. And then look for last years model . we saved £150 on our main tent like that!

Still say watch ebay. We bought ours (on the day our son was born - I mean how sad is that! ) from ebay and saved 400.00 pounds! Its in perfect condition as well.
