I have just got back from france and didn't book any sites - we just turned up and got a pitch. This is july /august so the busy time and we have never had any problems.
I would advise you to get ]]anhttp://webshop.acsi.eu/en/campingcard-acsi.html?aff=1960&label=13624-3AFC12FC-1207-4A59-A8E5-EA3CAD7E8F4FS21223526426&gclid=CLDsxce-97gCFbIPtAoduzoAcg book]]as it will give you a good discount on many many sites in september - the discounts often start on 21 augusts or 1 september and for the three of you are worth having as you can save a lot of money. One site we stayed in (just me and dd) we paid 31 euros for which was fine - but come september it would be 15 euros with the book - so in one night you would get your money back for buying the book.
there are plenty of campsites listed int he book for brittany
Just that really. We are thinking about going camping in France in September and wondered if we'll need to book a site in advance? We are thinking Brittany, anyone got any site recommendations? We've got one DS aged 2.
