Don't know where you're looking to go but prob cheaper to find a site that already has 'ready tents' set up. I know Sandy Balls (New Forest) have them in high season and I'm sure there are plenty of others.
I was very surprised recently by how light it was in our tent all night. We had battery operated fairy lights in with the kids but they could barely be seen. I don't really understand why it was so light but it was never properly dark even though we were in the countryside so hopefully your ds will be ok
Hi all, we've never been camping with ds before as he's scared of the dark. We only have the basic equipment ie; tent, groundsheet and sleeping bags and not much else! I've heard of a company that can drive to the campsite and put up a super duper tent for you with cooking stuff etc and you just turn up. I thought this might be a good idea for a 'starter' camper trip. Unfortunately I can't remember what they are called. Has anyone heard of any companies doing this please?
