I've done it before but I wasn't so serious about losing weight then. I've started using it again the last few days and have found it easier. I love the scanner on the app! Grin

According to MFP I haven't eaten enough calories today. I haven't exercised although I have exercised all the other days. I walk a lot with work and dance. According to MFP I have 380 cals left to eat? I don't feel hungry but should maybe force in some supper?

My height is 5 ft 8 and I'm around 12.5 stone. I aim to get to 11 stone.

I'm drinking a lot more water could this have helped dampen my appetite? I love water anyway but like a lot of people forget to drink it.

I only wish I had that problem! I have to say if it were me I would stay under today if you are not hungry. Save those calories in case you need them later in the week. Just don't stay under two days in a row. How many calories is your allowance each day?

I have been on MFP for two weeks and right now I am hungry :-)

Thanks for replying CG.

I ended up having a small bowl of muesli (no sugar one) with semi skimmed milk. My allowance is 1200.

I've already lost weight but that'll be water no doubt? AF is just here and normally I'd be really bloated just before and now but I'm ok.

I don't have a sweet tooth so aren't tempted by any cakes and biscuits in the house. Crisps is my downfall Blush I thought I'd found a healthy version that I enjoyed in Sunbites but they're not low fat. Thought it was too good to be true!

Have you tried Walkers baked crisps? I LOVE those! I also swapped semi skimmed for skimmed ages ago. Now way prefer it to semi. My allowance is 1200 too.

I'm off to the shops now will get some Walkers baked, thanks. Funnily enough I just thought today I should swap to skimmed milk.

Waitrose do brilliant reduced fat crinkled crisps in their lovelife range that are unsalted or lightly salted (like Mccoys) at 119 calories a packet - they feel like you have really eaten something!

Have you tried soy milk? The soy light is really nice and low calorie too. I can have dairy I just heard soy light is low cal so I switched a couple of months ago and like it all the time now.

Quavers are also only 88cals :-)

Just started today (and had a Pizza Express Superfood Leggera salad that wasn't nearly as nice as the pizzas the kids were eating for lunch) but am a bit confused by how they calculate your calories - 1200 a day seems quite low compared to other diets. I presume this is because I wanted to lose 1.5lbs a week rather than just 1lb?

Does the exercise 'offset' work just with exercise done above and beyond what should be normal, e.g. 10 000 steps? i did count 3000 of my steps as a walk, but wasn't sure if I should have?

Hope that you all have some collective wisdom to share

How are you finding it, Freakin'? Have to say I'm hungry now and its only 3.30pm.... better try and distract myself with some activity!

I've started this week so 2 days in. I have a terrifyingly huge amount to lose so have set an interim goal of 1 stone loss and am doing it in more manageable chunks.

I'm hungry too but that's to be expected when portion control needs adjusting to normal I guess Sad

Not so hungry this week, hurrah! And a little bit lost too, though that seems to fluctuate.

I like the accountability with MFP - I really can't get away with that 'food from the kids' plates/small chunk of cheese/teeny glass of wine doesn't actually have any calories' thinking now....

How have you done so far, wrong end? Good plan for the manageable chunks of weight loss. I seem to lose sight of the bigger picture very easily, or just get bored with the whole idea of trying to lose weight, so I do need to stick with it. Onwards and upwards, eh?

I weighed myself today and I lost 5lb! I'm really pleased but know that first week weight loss is always the biggest. Fingers crossed for 2lb a week from here on in!

I'm slowly getting used to eating less but hunger pangs still there! Ate at Prezzo this week. They have a 'lighter' option on all their pastas and pizzas with calories listed which is great!

Good luck Brit
