I've got some almonds that I need to use up (ground and flaked) and would like to make either a tray-bake or some cookies. I also have the following ingredients:Glace CherriesRaisinsSultanasMixed PeelStorkButterSelf Raising FlourPlain FlourEggsAlmond ExtractVanilla ExtractLight Muscavado SugarCaster SugarSoft Brown SugarI would normally do a cherry and almond madeira or cupcakes but I fancy a tray-bake or cookies... Any ideas?TIA
I made this traybake last night and it was lovely!
You could make soft amaretti, even better with lemon zest, or a Bakewell tart, or a frangipane tart.
