You can, but you need to add lots of sugar to it as it will be salty. I would add 1/2 a cup of sugar. Then roll it out to a flat rectangle, spread with spreadable butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar (be generous) and roll up like a swiss roll. Chop off 1/4 size pieces and leave to rise. Baste with egg and garnish with decorating sugar or flaked almonds.
