I've been making snacks for my 8 month old daughter, but only savory so far, cheese twist ect. I would like to make her some fruit/sugar free ones but not sure how they will taste without sugar. Please help.
I can't use honey as she's under one and although she eats everything inmashed I haven't given her raisins yet.

There are lots of great sugar alternatives to incorporate into baking. These
Banana Banana Biscuits are only sweetened by fruit, are really tasty with a nice banana flavour. I used a bit of agave syrup in this recipe for Coconut and oat bites and there is good old Gingerbread which uses blackstrap molasses which is high in iron and lots of other good things. I'd take a trip to the local health food shop and pick up a few ingredients- there are some great alternatives out there! good luck.

I tried a recipe I found online, very simple. Two ripe bananas mashed, mix in one cup (ish) porridge oats. Dollop the dough onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 180. Not my cup of tea I have I say but your little one might like them! Maybe I didn't cook them for long enough but they didn't crisp up at all they were sort if a rubbery consistency. Perfect for little fingers though and worth a go if you got some bananas to use up!
