Hi,

Going crazy trying to name a new enterprise...I am setting up a business with a friend making natural products - hand washes, hand creams, body lotions, face creams etc. We want to appeal to men and women and may at a later stage bring out a baby range...

We might not go organic but certainly we are not using parabens, harsh chemicals etc.

We wanted to call ourself Gaia but its just too popular when I google it..

We have tried all combos of our names and they just don't work and we can't just use one of our names..

We are considering - Anu Skin Care (Anu is Celtic - mother earth)
Carna Skin Care - (Roman goddess of healing)..

I am just not in love with either of them! Does anyone else have any ideas!!

Thanks!! We can't move forward with the logos, marketing etc til we have the name!!!

Anu sounds like you are being coy about anus and varna sounds like carnal....

How about terra? Or tellus?

Tellus mater (earth mother in Latin ish)

Thanks for the ideas! I will have a play around with Terra and Tellus!

my advice would be to use a 3 words sentence, with initial to form a nice acronym for logo purpose
it will be easier to get a domain and its a general trend anyway
something - but not necessarily - swimming with dolphins, or barefoot in the park...
you get the point ;-)
any design requirements let me know and good luck
