Or their home, when running a business from home? Our buildings and contents renewal was just under £300, but then we were refused cover because of my home business. Looking online for cover, the cheapest I could find was £920! Ouch!I'm now waiting for a local broker to call me back, but has anyone else had this problem? I have to sell an awful lot of cake to pay a £600+ insurance bill.
Talk to the NFU we have a lot of our insurances through them, find the local office and have a chat.
A lot of people i know use Giles insurance brokers. They have an office in most major towns and do a lot of specialised policies.
Thanks. I have had a quote from one broker, and she's calling back tomorrow with more. NFU local office was shut when I called, so I'll try them tomorrow.Never heard of Giles, but I'll check them out.
I have a quote from the co-operative business insurance for £92 per year, are this online quotes you've got?
