Hello <img border="0" src="/emo/te/1.gif" alt="smile"><br>I've posted before about the bullying my dd experienced last year and that we had to move schools in the end. She had a dreadful time and it was dealt with very badly by the school. Two terms of exclusion and verbal bullying which went undetected (although we were totally on the case) until caught out eventually.<br><br>She's now happy and thriving in a lovely school with a really good headteacher. Though sometimes mentions the past and clearly still is trying to process it. We talk about it but also encourage her to move on because she's lovely and deserves the best life has to offer her.<br><br>I recently learnt that one of the bully's mothers from the old school has been telling people that my dd "is a nasty piece of work" and that "she knew what she was doing" - I presume as in telling us, her parents, that she was being picked on. <br><br>This woman said a string of unfounded things to a good friend of mine who felt I needed to know so that I could address it properly. <br><br>I've spoken to the woman who completely denied it, gave one example of my dd being at her house a while ago and telling some boys off as they were shouting swear words (as it happens they were actually throwing a cat around aggressively and she doesn't like animal cruelty - the mother failed to mention this) but apart from that, she said my dd is lovely and has never been unkind and that she had noticed how quiet my dd had become back then. <br><br>Now, my concern is that this woman has been slandering my dd's name as some form of retaliation for her dd being found out and this behaviour and her words could be harmful to my dd's name . She's been through so much already and will be at high school with some of these kids again at some point. <br><br>Husband and I are considering legal action. This sound drastic but she's being very cruel and calculating and needlessly so. <br><br>I would very much appreciate some advice. Who can I go to about this? I am worried for my dd's future education and dumbfounded as to why anyone would be so foul. <br><br>Thanks for reading xx
