Red Balloon learning centers - any experience?

Having read about the Red Balloon here, I decided to find out more about it.

There is one a couple of miles away from mr and I am in the process of trying to secure funding for a place there for my 12 year old daughter. I have spoken to them directly and they feel that my dd would benefit from being placed there.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience, or advice really.
