hello
I have recently noticed my nipples go patchy white/discoloured at times. Is this normal? i can't figure out if there's pattern as to when.
DS is 13wks old, i had a hellish time with cracks, bleeding and thrush until about 9-10wks so bit paranoid now! (btw thanks for the support with that)
cheers

Mine did this. Do you have reynauards? (sp). It's a condition that affects your circulation (one symptom is that hands and feet are always cold). Until I had DD and was bf'ing I hadn't realised you could get it in your nipples. It can also cause discomfort. Try and keep them covered up whe not in use . ALso, Kelly's mom website has some info I believe.

I am very pale skinned and notice mine often go white after a feed for a bit, mine are ok

patchy white can indicate thrush, check your babies mouth, I agree see doctor if you're worried, its wht they're paid for!!
