Will my porn star boobs ever be normal again?!

My boobs have always been large (34E/F pre-pregnancy) but are now enormous 36G/H! On a size 12 body it looks ridiculous and am wearing size 18 tops at present. Don't really mind while I am bf and definately don't want to give up yet (DD is 5 months) but just need reassurance that I won't always look like this. When can I realistic expect them to shrink again?

I stopped when ds was 9 1/2 months old. Breasts were "really" huge at the beginning and then settled into "just" being huge.

Then I think as he stopped having as much boob and more food they started to calm down. Then when I stopped I had about 4 weeks of lumpy uncomfortable breasts and then they slowly shrunk over that time period to the silly size that they are now!! I was always about a 34b..then went up to 38C and now a 36A despite the fact that I have lost alot of weight.

So rest assured they don't stay huge forever!

HTH!

I am nursing ds 7mths old. They started off at 36C, now that ds has started on Solids my once so big boobs have shrunk to size 34B and I know in a couples of months when I totally give up nursing they will shrink (thats when you resort to gel bras, if u miss having them BIG. Enjoy til they last.

I think I got up to a 34/36F (pre pregnancy 34B) and they'd definitely deflated by the time dd was a year, but not totally. breastfed for nearly 2 yrs and by then they were virtually back to pre-pregnancy size, and the skin was definitely 'looser'

Take heart Sassy - they really do go back to normal eventually and as some have described may even be smaller so don't panic.

I never had really big boobs they were an average 36B, and went up to 38E while feeding. However, they only shrunk back to a 38D. Everyone told me they would shrink back smaller, but 4 years on, and I still find clothes straining across my chest.
However, I did feed twins and faired better than a friend of mine, who's boobs look like two tennis balls in a pair of old socks.

I sympathise totally - I remember being totally freaked out when I first really looked at mine in a mirror - I was 32dd before and 34 g/h during b/f - and when I stopped and lost the bit of extra weight that made me '34' - I went pretty much straight back to 32dd.

Mine went smaller than pre-pg when I stopped b/f'ing. A friend once described her deflated boobs as an old sock with a ping pong ball at the end!! Just about sums mine up 2 dds later!!! Enjoy it, it may not last forever!!!

Thanks all! Lots of people have said that they will shrink (and go much smaller/saggier etc) but this is from people who are much more average-sized than me when not preg/bf. I was beginning to think surgery was the only option! I'll keep you posted as to what happens as she gets weaned - eating some solids at mo but still gets most of her nourishment from the old melons. Cheers!

Before dd was a 32 E/F then during breastfeeding went up to a 32H. When I look at photos of myself then I cringe because I look so horribly busty (am only 5ft 2in and a size 10).

Was very excited at the thought of them shrinking once I gave up breastfeeding, as everyone told me they would, but they didn't!!! I went back to a 32F and developed a bit of a Rigby & Peller habit as they have the only bras (Belgian make called prima donna) that make my boobs look remotely perky. Now am pregnant again and am planning on going there to be measured for my nursing bras as I can't bear 'boobs round the waist' syndrome for the next 6 months.

I think one of the probs is that most feeding bras are really unsupportive and not designed for larger bust sizes. The Bravado, which everyone else raved about, gave me a huge 'shelf' bosom like Pat Butcher. As for the Emma Jane ones, I was spilling over the top like a busty barmaid, even though I'd been properly measured for them at John Lewis. Last time round I thought the NCT bras were the most supportive and controlling. They were a real palaver to get fitted for though - had to traipse off to some fitter who lived about 30 misn drive away from me. Can't remember which styles but I've still got my old bras so could look and see if you are interested, Sassy.

Mine have definitely shrunk. They started at 36C, ballooned during pregnancy and bf and now they're a disappointing 36A. It's now 6 months since I stopped bf but I'm told it takes about 2 years after stopping feeding to resume there former size.

Thanks for sympathy and offers of bras, anto! I agree about feeding bras - you might as well wear a couple of hankies over your boobs for all the support they give! Better hang on to your NCT ones though if pg again. I'll remember the R & P tip for future pregnancies though!
