When the mighty milk comes in!.........

In previous baby feeding times I have breast fed, some successfully some not. This time I decided not to do at all. Its our last baby, and for a few 'well thought out reasons' decided that this time I was going to bottle fed from day one. All very good until yesterday when BAM the milk comes in! Anyone out there who has also Bottle Fed from day one and not going near the bazookas know how long this 'full up - near to explosion' feeling lasts?!!! I think I am going to go mental! My 3yr old couldn't understand it when he came up for a hug and I had to litrally push him off! Poor love!!! Is there anything that will ease it quicker? Is it a waiting game? Is there a bigger risk of mastitis? Will hot flannels encourage milk flow or just ease the pain, as I dying to jump in the bath and cover them up!
Any clues?!!!......

Hello scatterbox, congrats on your baby. I ff my dd and if I remember rightly, the huge sore bazooka stage lasted about 3 days. I didn't use hot flannels or anything, just completely left them alone. Wearing a bra all the time, including at night helped a bit too.
