Refusing a bottle...what should I do??

OK - this is not going well. All last week I gave LO 1 bottle in the morning and by friday she was brilliant at taking it. However on saturday i went to work and she made a huge fuss about taking a bottle from DH.

So the next day i suggested DH had better give her the bottle - 2 hours of crying later and she had not taken the bottle!

So we repeated the exercise yesterday and the same thing happened!

What should I do today?! I can't face 2 hours of fighting and crying again - it so sad - and to easy for me to give in and give her a boob!

I could give up on the bottle idea and take her with me on saturday mornings (this is possible as it is a very child friendly job) - but then I will have be putting off the problem until I go back to real work in July....

How about trying a different sort of bottle?

Is it that she wants you and not DH, so the bottle isn't the actual issue?

Yes - she has taken the bottle fine before do it's just that she is now old enough to assert her preference for the boob!
