i keep hearing conflicting things re breastfeeding. DS3 (13 days) feeds every 2-3 hours but i only offer him one side. should i be offering both? he seems quite satisfied and feeds quickly (once he has latched-we are having a few difficulties with that at mo)

am confused...i sort of blagged my way thru feeding ds2 and although i managed to feed him for 16 weeks it was a struggle and i desperatly want to get it right this time, especially as this is my last child!

Sounds like you are doing really well. I've always suggested offering both sides. If they dont take it - its fine, but just offer it.

What difficulties are you havnig with the latch?

i have a thread here he just takes a while to latch, its a blimmin strong latch when he does get on but it sometimes takes a while for him to get there
