Frequent feeding in 4.5 month baby

DD2 (4.5 months, exclusively breastfed) feeds very frequently during the day (often almost continuously for several hours). If we're out and about, which she loves, she'll often happily go 4-5 hours between feeds. However, at home she seems to view me as an all-day buffet and will snack constantly. This is getting worse if anything, and nothing else seems to settle her (except sometimes going for a walk, which is not always practical). She's now started waking at night every 2-3 hours, whereas she was going 5-6. This may be partly growth spurt but has been going on a while (several weeks). She doesn't feed for long, and then falls asleep. I wouldn't mind so much but I have a 2 year old, and feel I'd like to give her a bit more undivided attention (although we usually do read or do other things while DD2 feeds). Her weight gain is fine and I feel I have plenty of milk, so this isn't an issue. Have though of supplementing last thing at night with formula or expressed milk, but she won't take a bottle from me or DH if I'm around (though she will from others if I'm not there). Any ideas of how I can get her to go a bit longer? Am certianly not looking for a rigid routine, but would like a little more time for DD1.

don't do formula top up - doesn't sound like there's any need

Make dh go in for one of the night wakings and pat her back to sleep.

You must be super yummy and warm for her to want you so much, good Mum
