Infant feeding

Really excited about breastfeeding again

I hope this isn't too weird, but I am so looking forward to breastfeeding again. A nuzzly, rooty tiny baby. That milk-drunk grin. Snuggly feeding in the middle of the night. That cute little chicken head bob they do with their mouths open trying to latch on. And they get too excited and keep missing. Awwww. And there's that tiny period where there's nothing you can't solve with a boob. Cross? Boob. Tired? Boob. Hungry? Boob.

Please resist the temptation to refer me back to this thread when I'm on here in a couple of months time wailing about cracked nipples, projectile vomiting, sleep deprivation and mastitis .

Yep I'm past the OWWWWW!! stage and I have all that you describe Broccoli. And don't forget the look of absolute absorption they have when they on the boob!

It might not hurt -it didn't with my ds 2. No pain at all.
...loved the 'aaahhhhhhhhh' when he finished and exhaled in a sea of breast heaven.
