How much formula for 8.5 month old?

DD is 8.5 months old and is eating a good three meals a day - she loves her food and eats a balanced diet of fruit, veg, protein, carbs etc. However, I can't get her to take more than 15fl oz of formula per day, sometimes a little less. I have only just stopped the 10.30pm feed which caused no problems, but its a real struggle to get her to have any more formula during the day - and I am very reluctant to start up the night feed again. Can anyone advise what the minimum amount of formula is ok at this age? I try mixing a bit into her cereal in the morning which helps and she has milky sauces (cows milk) but is this enough? Otherwise she is very alert and happy and her weight steady - 25 centile since birth - oh, she won't drink any water during the day either! Any thoughts would be very gratefully received!

my ds was having 8 oz in morning and one for bed dinner always done hour and half before bed

i was advised to add to breakfast give yoghurts as 2 small yoghurts give required milk intake if i remember correctly
i think its about 250ml a day {not 100% feels like yrs ago i had to remember this lol}

my ds always had 8 oz in morn and is bedtime bottle and then when he was about 10 mths wouldnt drink milk at all at a yr managed to get him to drink bedtime milk and he still does at 2.7 along with a yoghurt before bed

My dd2 has been on two bottles a day of just 8fl oz since she was about seven months old (she ten months now)... never realised there was a minimum amount actually. Like u say, she gets most of her nourishment now from real food (she eats like a horse!!), so not worried. I do give her yoghurts and she has milk on cereal too.

The water thing is a prob with us too, but she's getting better. Just a sip or two as often as u can is better than nowt according to my gp.

Up to 1 year a minimum of 20oz is recommended but not all of it needs to be as a drink. Any milk in cereal, in foods, in cooking, dairy products (yoghurt, cheese, etc) all count towards that intake.

Re: water - I always offered the cup (TT first cup) with meals and then left it on the highchair tray for ds to play about with. He drinks out of anything though especially if it is not his!!

Thank you all so much - so, say she takes 15fl oz formula a day, and I give her something like cauliflower cheese and a yogurt / fromage frais, during the day, this should be ok? I was wondering whether I should reduce the amount of food I am giving her to get her to drink more milk - but that just seems crazy!
