i stopped bf at 3 weeks and baby is now 12 weeks old, but when i squeeze my nipples i still have milk. do i need to take anything to get rid of the milk? my periods have returned and i have pnd and mood swings, not sure if this is down to horemones being all over the place, so i dont want to strt taking the pill. i thought it would be better for horemones to settle naturally? what are your opinions

newmummy, this is normal. Many women have milk in their breasts for far, far longer than this. It will go by itself. You will slow down this process if you keep squeezing

I stopped BF a month ago and can still squirt milk out (sorry tmi)! I have heard that it might never go away after feeding for a while (I fed DD for 15 months). It doesn't bother me at all, I just wondered if it is true.
