Who has bf through pregnacy?
Ds is 2 and still having milk at night but since i have been preg he wants to feed all the time and when he feeds in the night he doesnt go back to sleep so he has been up at 4am every day for the last 2 weeks. (am only 6 weeks gone)
Is there a change in your milk?
Should i stop him feeding for a while? (it is quite painfull now)
Any help would be appreciated

hello!
congrats on your pregnancy.
I bf all through my second pregnancy and tandem fed until dd1 was three and a bit, so for about a year give or take. it was a great experience.
my experience was that the milk changes to colostrum part way through the pg, but dd1 was perfectly happy with that! after the baby is born, the important thing is just to feed the baby first. getting bf established the second time is loads easier when you haven;t stopped!
if you want to stop now, then try and do it gradually. do you think it is painful because he is feeding a lot?
could you try and distract him for a bit and cut down on the feeds?

hi i had an open mind about stopping bf when pg or carrying on and tandem feeding but it worked out best for me that my daughter who was then 19 mths self weaned just as it was starting to get painful and i wanted to stop as the pain got to much for me. I bf til i was 16 wks just twice a day am and before bed and i think my milk changed and maybe got less around 15 wks for me as it suddenly got more painful and i dont think she was getting much any more. i really enjoyed bf when i was pg even when i was being sick sometimes twice a day and if it had not got really painful or if she did not self wean would have carried on for longer. Congrats on your pg.
