hi yeah my ds was like that he use to go through little growth spurts were he would feed quite happily every two hours. I was lucky he use to feed for ten mins and then get off. Are you completlly draining the boob he is feeding off before he stops. Try expressing if not or tickle his hand to stop him falling asleep to soon. My boobs sometimes got heavy sometimes did not. Sounds like your body is use to the amount he needs but that changes too. My ds use to get frustrated too too . Ds use to sleep on our chests when we watched tv and slept with me since he was born. He is now two and i just about to stop bf. You are doing well just trust your instincts. And as for him sleeping enjoy this age because trust me my ds does not stop!!

Just keep feeding. The more you feed, the more you will make.
Boobs wont necessarily feel full now as supply should be establisged. Mine never did. Oh,and remember that what you can express is never a true reflection of what is there.

hi clara thanx about ds your little man looks like a cheeky little boy and my no means wasting away! What you are feeling is perfectly normal in fact looking back i wonder how i coped. Its so hard being a first time mum because you just have no idea if what you are doing is right.. Stress will affect your milk and he will sense this. Have you tried swaddling him before you feed him. He might not be latching on properly something ds use to do even though he got good at it. Mostly down to frustration. After all they are boys! I am afraid sleeping is long gone! My ds still wake up demanding milk! I feel like a jersey cow! Watch your eating as well certain foods help with milk supply. Fish helped mine! When you express how do you do it? Found that electric pump didnt help at all. Go to clinic because it will put your mind at rest. If you need someone to chat to email me at [email protected] and leave your phone number and i will give you a call just so you can talk to someone that knows how you feel.x

it will and does pass and you will soon be like me wondering where the time went and missing when they were tiny. Enjoy him because this stage lasts precious months until they like ds and never stop. Ds on the 75th centile since birth. You doing a great job and giving him best start in life. Remind him of this when he starts answering you back!
