a friend of mine is feeding her two and a half year old - mostly morning and night - very much part of his going to sleep routine - though he's happy sleeping without it if friend isn't at home. she'd like to stop but really doesn;t know how - he's very aware etc and she doesn;t want him to feel rejected - which he clearly does if she tries to "decline". any tips?

I just tryed to keep my ds4's mind off the breast at bed time and dh tookover at the point I usually fed him iyswim!? also took him shopping for a big boys bedtime cup, and stickers worked great, but agree that she must be ready to stop as there may be tears although we only had them the first night!
