milk will be fine.

Test on wrist. Probably a minute at a time would do.

Good luck with the bottle

I used to stand the bottle in a measuring jug of boiling water - it's hard to know how long for, but keep testing a few drops on the inside of your wrist. When it feels pleasantly warm but not uncomfortably hot, it's ready.

I'm sure 5 mins out of the fridge won't have hurt it.

lucky lucky you! im 6.5 mths down the line and can't leave her with anyone cos she freaks out when she sees a bottle or even a cup, lesson no. one is to make sure anyone can feed your baby if your not around or just to give you a break keep it up! And make sure u do it a couple of times a week or they forget how to take from a bottle THAT was my biggest mistake ever

Which bottles are you trying Shell001? My DD would never breastfeed so I expressed for 4 months, used the Back to Nature bottles by TT as they are more 'breast like'.

Some of my friends had some success with the breast bottles you can get at Blooming Marv, when their babies would not take a bottle.

Avent ones but have the tt back to nature ones in the sterilizer now ... it looks more like a nipple than avent .. so i ll try that one!
