Hi first time posting a message and need some help! Have just swopped my dd last feed from breast to bottle (yesterday evening) so she is now exclusively bottle fed. When should my boobs return to a normal size? This is my second baby but had really problems giving up last time with mastitis and hospital visits to tried to do it gradually this time. Any ideas how mong it might take?

Would be interested to know too - gone from a B cup to an E cup with DS and wondering whether they will ever return to how they were. Not complaining, I quite like having a cleavage.

Hi,

I've just (3wks ago) stopped feeding ds2 (10 months old) and put him onto bottles. I expressed a little every few days (whenever I felt a bit saw/ full) so as to avoid mastitus. My boobs have just about returned to a smaller size but They were always 2 sizes bigger after ds1 (fed him for 4 months), now still bigger that I was before pregnant with ds2 but definately smaller than 3 wks ago!

Sorry if that was complecated! Hope this helps

And - sorry to be the bearer of bad news gals - but sometimes (especially if you're ancient like me!) when they do shrink, they end up like deflated balloons rather than the pert little puppies you're used to. It's all part of the crap bit of the deal along with (someone else's phrase!) the crepe paper stomach (add in the overhang shelf if you've had a CS)

Of course, you just have to look at your chubby little angel to cheer you up, while buying shares in Spanx and Wonderbra...

the joy of motherhood, I have the overhang from cs, crepey stomach, back in jeans but have limited wear in them as circulation to my stomach starts to go after a while! WOuld be nice to eat food without crumbs dropping between my enormous cleavage
