anyone know about echinacea & elderberry extract while BF?

Hi

I've taken echinacea and elderberry extract for years in the winter to fend off colds... They work brilliantly IME. Does anyone know if they're OK to take while BF?

I've looked into this as am also a regular echinacea taker, but think the conclusion is that it's not safe to take while BF . Not sure about the elderberry, but it's probably the same story. I've been BF for nearly a year now and am struggling to keep healthy now the winter's here. I'm taking Floradix (which is fine while BF) and Pregnacare vits in the hope that they will boost my immune system a bit.
