Hello!! I have a baby girl who is now 13 weeks, we were doing alright with breastfeeding but now she seems so uncomfortable and doesn't like my left breast very much, I am worried it may dry or something, any sugestion please?

it is not unusual for a baby to have a preferred side, my dd did. its difficult to advise you without more details ie what do you mean by uncomfortable? what makes you think the breat is dry.

if your dd prefers right side then you could start her on there and may be try left if you stop for break/winding in between.

you could try her on ther left breast but try different position ie rugby ball hold or lying down, preferrably try her before she gets to hungry then she will have a bit more patience.

HTH, good luck

My lo preferred my left - we fed for 2 years and now it is a cup size bigger than the right. I'm pg again so plan to encourage right as the next favourite and try to even them out

sorry, should have said that you need to be aware that left side doesnt become sore if it isnt being drained at all.

Ds used to swap and change as to which was the preferred one for the week. I used to find that starting him off on the unfavoured side would just get him frustrated but if I got him going on the favorite one then took him off as soon as I felt the let down and switch him over he would settle down to it.
