I am considering switching my 4 month old to FF, but he is a quick snacky feeder and everytime I have given him a bottle he only takes about 3 oz. Has anyone else had this problem, did you manage to switch without suffering hours of crying beween feeds, because I not sure I can face that tbh. My ds is unsettled between bfeeds and feeds very reequently at the moment.

Why do you think ff will help you, charliemama?

You might well find that ff makes baby settled for longer. I didn't have any problems chaning from bf to ff.
No doubt bfing mums will all start shouting at this thread about what is best for baby, but go with what works best for you guys.

I am due back to work in the new year so i need my ds to be able to feed away from me (I am hopeless at expressing). Also I am exhausted from frequent feeding day and night. This is my third dc I have bf all of them which hasn't been easy due to problemms of fast flow and wind so I am proud I have got him to 16 weeks.

You should be proud - it's the best start!
I expressed for several months, with a hand pump. What have you tried for expressing?

I use the advent handpump. To be honest with 3 children under 5 I wonder if I have the time to express. For clarification I'm not ready to give up bf completely, I would still like to morning and before bed.
