Infant feeding

Comfort One

DS has been on Comfort One for 4 weeks now and is doing really well. I have a few questions with making it up tho.

The Cow and Gate team says it should be made up with near boiling water. (Fifteen minutes after the kettle has boiled and no later)This makes the bottle far too hot to drink so you have to cool it rapidly. They also say the feeds must be drank within an hour of making them (So I presume they can't be stored in the fridge)
Ds seems to have settled into a four hourly feeding routine to get the bottle made up properly I have to start preparing it about half an hour before it is due. If he over sleeps then the bottle has to be thrown and start again. (Don't believe in waking sleeping babies - They are sleeping as they need to and will wake up when they are hungry in my opinion) Then he'll be screaming for it.
Any suggestion would be grateful.

The way I understand it from a food hygiene perspective you can put the water in a flask to keep it hot then make the bottle up.

I think if you sterilise well and use good hygiene in general you can make up one or two in advance and keep them in the coldest part of the fridge then warm them back up.

Someone else may prove me wrong as I BF DD but have lots of friends who did this with their formula bottles.

Ive used comfort milk fro my little one. We're currently on the number 2 stuff.
Whern he was much smaller, I did used to make a few u and put them in the fridge and it didn't kill him! I also used just warm water (boiled and cooled down) - this made our lives much easier, and again didn't kill him!
