What a decent chap. Always wanted to know, though, what is "dandling"?

Bit odd that a teenge boy should front a breast feeding campaign though isn't it?

Isn't his mum a midwife?

actually it makes perfect sense for him to front the campaign...

he's a teenage boy who appeals to teenage girls, who are statistically much less likely to breastfeed than older mothers...

perhaps he'll succeed in getting people to listen where more conventional figures have failed

awww.. bless him

Dandling is, I believe, to sit a small child on one's knee and jig them. As one does.

In the article they mention that his mum is a midwife and breastfeeding campaigner. What a lovely boy though- how many 19 year olds do you know who are so willing to embrace their mothers' causes?

I have always loved young Theo (in a motherly way you understand) and this just confirms my feeling that he is a thoroughly nice boy. I hope my DS grows up to be so delightful

I followed the link from the article to this site and have treated myself to a t-shirt. Shame I'm going to have to pull it up to feed DS

OMG, I never knew Theo Walcott was Lynn Walcott's son. She is pretty famous herself in her field, I used to be on an email group with her.

He came to the last Association for Breastfeeding mothers conference with his sister and niece. Good lead eh??

(Never heard of him before that but still..if it makes people think again.)

Didn't have a clue who he was but I think it's fantastic, if it can help teenage boys (and girls) to feel that bf is normal.
