Infant feeding

not feeling letdown

I bf 10mo DS at 6am, 9am, 3pm, 7pm then sometimes in the night if he won't settle with water. I think this is quite a few times considering he is eating 3 meals a day now and my supply should still be quite good.

The only thing is I barely feel the letdown anymore. I used to have quite a strong letdown within the first 2 mins of DS feeding. Most of the time I don't feel it and if I do it is nowhere near as strong or lasts as long as it used to even a couple of months ago.

Do you think DS will be getting enough milk? Is this normal with extended bf?

Not sure that I've ever felt the letdown, but I'm still bf'ing my 20 month old.

With that number of feeds I'm sure that your supply will be fine .

I've never felt a let down in my life and fed for nearly 3 years.

Sounds fine to me.
