Has anyone used this on a newborn (instead of infacol) to try to counteract wind? If so, was it successful or were there any side effects?

Used it, on the advice of my maternity nurse, on my 13 day old baby - but a little unsure about it, she seemed to react badly to it (unsettled, and poos went from yellowish colour to greeny colour).

Thanks x

Not sure about granules, but my inlaws swear by giving camomille tea to babies to settle their stomachs.

I read on a thread somewhere that if you drink fennel tea, then it has the effect on calming wind in baby if you are bf.
My ds has only had 2 episodes of colic in his 10 weeks and I'm on 2 / 3 cups a day.
You can find it in the herbal section of teas in most supermarkets.
