Infant feeding

If you work FT, is bf'g to quell toddler tantrums a blessing or a curse?

DD is almost 15m and still regularly bf. Big change on the horizon - I'm trying to get a FT job. Keen to keep at least one, pref 2 feeds going per day. Just not sure if I should expect to feed more than that at weekends, esp as she gets older and finds more things to be frustrated about. If I use bf as a weekend calming tool, will that create more problems through the week when I'm away?

Nothing helpful to add on the 'camling tool' end, but even in much smaller children where bf is the main source of food as well as comfort, they twig pretty fast that mummy is the only one who can do it, and if she's not about eg when they're at grandma's / nursery / childminders etc something different will happen.

Some children do find it hard to transfer form breast to bottle at short notice , so i would recomend doing both at the times you think she will be away from you, express your milk into a bottle and ask hubby to feed or friend, family and carry on giving her your breast in the morning and in the evening but give your self time
