ooh i love this, both my dc (boy and girl) used to do this with all their dolls and cuddly toys, then (ex)dh walks in the room and says "see what you've done to them! that aint right!" then says to the kids "your mother is a pervert!"

...your 10-year-old gets home from school thirsty, asks for a glass of milk, and whips up yur t-shirt!

mine attempted to do this but realised she was wearing dungarees.
She had got a muslin square and a cushion and everything.

I ain't going to tell my mum about it. She would think I am a pervert. She once said that breastfeeding wasn't natural, honest.

my 4.8yo (not bf since 9mo) pretended to feed a small toy dog when he stayed at my parents last night. apparently lifted his top and said he had to get his boobies out. his 16mo brother is bf so i am guessing it comes from that, which is fine, but BOOBIES???? god knows where he got that one from.

We're staying with in-laws at the moment, and DS2 (2.6) has just tried to suckle from a statue of a bare-breasted Hindu goddess that they keep in their lounge. He had been staring longingly at it all afternoon, before announcing 'I'm going to drink the lady's nanas!' and giving it a darn good go.

My Mum is one of a kind. Some of the things she says. I really could write a book.

Thankfully they weren't there at the time! But my SIL used to be a midwife in Bangladesh, so she's pretty cool about this sort of thing. I'm just glad it wasn't in front of the PILs - I'd never have lived it down...

I come back from a run in the pouring rain just before ds2 went to bed. Went to feed him before having a shower and he said:
'Yuck mammy jubaba. Me no like cold jubaba mummy milk. Me like hot jubaba mummy milk. Too wet. Peeeese hot jubaba mummy milk? Peeeeeese?'

when dd lifts up my top, offers dh one side before latching on to the other herself.

even better, last night she offered one of dh's best mates and her godfather 'the other side' yesterday to his shock and hilarity.

at least she's now grasped the concept of sharing

kiskidee · 16/06/2007 22:37

oh, she also lifts her top and offers dh 'nicky'.

LOL @ the Hindu Goddess one, PW .....

DD1 always used to try & latch on to me through whatever item of clothing I was wearing ... Sometimes she succeeded in feeding through the aforesaid garment too!!

My 20 month old lifts up top, points and says fis (this) once finished, detaches points to the other says fis again.

Even does it at night,I get woken up to a rooting child shouting fis,fis fis.

I was actually crying with laughter reading some of these.

I was concerned about a lump in my breast (turned out to be okay) and I'd read that the best way to check was lying down with your arms over your head. I was doing this on the floor when dd2 crawled over and latched on, giggling furiously.
