is breast feeding draining me?

(posting on behalf of a friend here)

Feeling very tired, cold after cold. Been breast feeding happily for nearly 12 months. Down to morning and evening feeds only but still very tired. Is there 'a something' she could be taking to help her feel less tired and more healthy? She's been told to take co-enzyme q10!

Get her to have her thyroid tested. It's not uncommon for pregnancy to bring on an underactive thyroid, which makes you very tired. This happened to me, I had no idea as I though all Mums of 3 were shattered.

what is co enzyme q10. If she's only bfing twice a day, I doubt if that's the problem. She should make sure her diet in general is healthy, and that she's getting enough rest. Stress and worry also play factor.

Not sure what co enzyme q10 is. My friend will be along herself at some point to explain more I'm sure if necessary. Thanks for replies anyway.
