RASH on tummy and back - reaction to C&G Formula - Any Advice???

Ds is 4mo this is the third time he has had formula ( in the last two weeks I have been introducing it) and reacted so now I'm sure it is the cause. It's a fine rash in large patches on tummy. There is dry skin there now aswell.

Is there anything I could put on it? he's been very wingey this morning ( and all night )?

Spoken to docs and have to call back at noon any ideas before I speak to doctors?

Should I switch formulas? I will of course stop any for a while but I do want to eventually to take formula.

Goats? Soya? (personally I'm not into soya)

I normally express in the morning to top up a bf at 10 11pm feed as he's often to tired to take enough to get him through a chunk of the night. But I can only get about 3or4oz of a day.

TIA

It's a raised fine red rash. it flared up with formula and leaves the skin very dry.

Don't think soya is advised unless on prescription, and iirc the only goats' milk-based formula has been withdrawn from the market.

I'd definitely try another brand of formula if you're dead set on switching him rather than persist with one that he reacts to, but is there any rush to get him off the breast just yet?

Aqueous cream for the rash until you speak to a doc.

I just like to know that i can give him a formula when I've not been able to express. I will bf until at least 6m but I need i bit of freedom soon or I'll go mad.
I'd like to be able to take on some work and leave ds with someone for an afternoon now and again.
I've been pumping since I stted this thread and I have only managed 1oz...v slow let down.

I find that if I pump first thing in the morning, while dd is feeding from the other side, I can get 4 times what I can get at any other time in the day. Don't know if you have tried that?

Yeah I tried that but it's very difficult as my boobs are so big. There's not enough room to do both successfully. I have to lean forward to express or it leaks down my tummy and therefore ds is in way. I tend to express after sometimes immediately and get nice hind milk or sometimes a hour later.
