How sad. Totally sympathise with you as I'm dreading the prospect of giving up BF as DS is almost certainly my last baby. Hope I managed to to as well as you & get to a year though. Good luck for tomorrow xx

Oh hugs. I stopped a couple of months ago, when dd2 was 7 months. I didn't want to and felt like I'd failed. I was aiming for a year, but I didn't have the strength to go on as she was losing weight (only 12lbs 9 at 6 months) and I couldn't seem to keep up with her and my other 3 children. Still feel sad when I think about it .... however she was happy to do it and is thriving . You did fantastically well to get to 13 months. I felt very very low for about 3 weeks - hormone thing going on. Very tearful (especially as was my last baby) but now I feel fine. Just look at the beautiful dd you've created and look forward to adding a brother/sister.

I was heartbroken when dd self weaned at about 17 months. I don't like them but think you need them //[[hugs]

My DS is 18 months old, and I don't seem to see an end in sight. I must admit I will be a little happy when he does stop, as I have new baby on the way, due in November! I think my DS is an addict and needs to go to rehab!!!!
