How much milk & when for 9.5 month old?

Can anyone advise me on how much milk/how many bottles my 9.5 month old DD should be drinking?

She has never been keen on milk & never drank the reccomended amounts, but loves her solids. She has an 8oz bottle when she wakes-anywhere from 7.30-8.30,of which she'll drink 4oz or so.Breakfast is at 9am,with another 0z or two.For the rest of the day,she will sip water, but very little. She just doesn't seem to get thirsty & I worry about her with it being so hot.

Lunch is at 12.30pm with another few sips of water & tea at 4.30pm with the same. Her bedtime bottle is at 6.30pm,but she will only drink 1oz or so & I have taken to sneaking in after she has gone to sleep to get her to drink the rest,as it can't be good for her to go for so long without drinking.

Now I am wondering if I am doing it all wrong & need to rearrange our schedule,or if she may just not want a bedtime bottle anymore?

Ask your HV, but the recommended amount at this age is 16 oz per day - including cheese, yoghurt, etc.

sometimes they just go off milk for whatever reason, but she will still need liquid. Is she used to a beaker? When my DD went off milk at that age due to teething, I tried a different cup with a freer flowing spout (Tommy Tippee) and it worked. She liked the novelty of different cups, too.

I am still bf & dd only feeds first and last thing - have no idea how much she takes but she only sips water in the day & seems to be happy. Hope this helps
