Got mastitis, fever of 41, the works. Got anti biotics from GP, they are slowly making things better. Only trouble now is I've been feeding through it - which is supposed to be great but it now means the infected breast is filling every 20 mins in response to the frequency making it painful again, so waking in the night with pain.
What's the solution? Feed every twenty mins til infection fully gone (a week) then expressing to taper off?
