Hello Chester1, the thing I did was get my DH to do the first couple of bottles so the babe couldn't smell my milk or make a bee line for my nips and it totally worked! Worth a go if you havn't tried already. xxx

I'm sure he'll be getting enough. My HV told me the other day to start dropping off some of the milk now anyway and my babe is only 24 weeks! And you know what boys are like - they give their mums the run around so no doubt he'll quaff stacks of the stuff from a bottle when he's with the nanny! I worry too about not enough milk - the whole weaning balance thing gets very confusing. Good luck xxx

thank you, I spoke with the health visitor this morning who is happy with the amount of milk he is getting each day (morning, night and 1 during the night) as he is having other dairy products too and as long as he is having water during the day (which he does abit) thats ok.

She said if I want him to take a bottle for the morning and night feeds to get the nanny to offer him some milk in a cup or bottle during the day and if he doesn;t take it thats ok don;t push but get him used to the idea........ so fingers crossed
