One weetabix with a handful of the aldi granolay stuff and whole milk.
3 small bites of half a piece of brown toast, licked all the butter off though.
1 ikea child's cup of homemade smoothie (banana, small handful of frozen "summer fruits", spoon of greek yoghurt, milk)
Half a rich tea biscuit
Tuna pasta (about a dozen tubes) and half an avacado
Half a small scone with jam + jam licked from the other uneaten half
Mini box of raisins
Satsuma
Small apple with just the core take out
Beef mince pasta bake (poor meal plannning double pasta I know!) he ate some of the pasta (8ish bits), a small amount of the mince (2 teaspoons maybe) 2 or 3 pieces of carrot.
A slice of garlic bread.
He's 2yrs 4months. Very very active. Seems like a lot of food now I write it all down.
Anyone care to share what their DC ate today? I'm not trying to start a competitive wholemeal Quinoa and organic kale list just interested in volume. I saw one of those portion size posters in the sure start and it made me worry. The portions were tiny.

Wow, I wish my son would eat that well, he's also 2 years 3 months and has eaten:
1 weetabix
1/2 slice of toast
Licked a strawberry
Less than 1/4 of a cheese sandwich
Maybe 8 tubes of pasta bolognaise, with meat and onion picked off
3 yoghurt tubes
2 biscotti biscuits and some milk....
NOT good! Yours looks great to me, really balanced!

That sounds like quite a lot to me. Are you worried it's too little?
DD1 is 2.8. She had a poached egg and half a slice of toast for breakfast. Some baguette, cheese, tomato and cucumber for lunch. Half an apple mid afternoon. Potato wedges (maybe 4), half a cod fillet and some broccoli for dinner. Small bowl of Greek yoghurt and blueberries after.

worldsbiggestG I think it's quite a lot. He also took some sizeable bites out of his dinsosaur books! Broccoli, tomato and cucumber makes me envious, DS only seems to eat fruit...
greensiren was it his strawberry?

22 month old ds ate

1 banana
1 bowl bite size shredded wheat
1 bowl porridge

3 cheese and spinach muffins (small homemade ones)

Pulled pork roll (burger size roll)
Cornetto

Box of raisins
Apple

1 soft boiled egg and 1 piece of toast
Handful of cherry tomatoes

Tea was quite small for him, we'd been out all day and were late back. Normally he has pretty much an adult size portion!

It was his strawberry! I struggle to get him to eat any fruit so I guess could've been worse. I can't remember the last time I saw him eat a vegetable or salad or anything Unknown 🙄 Very envious of all of you whose kids eat soup, eggs, potatoes etc!

Broccoli, tomato and cucumber are pretty much her limit Grin. She likes peas and raw cabbage but not much veg otherwise.
It looks like he eats well. Pretty balanced diet. If he's active and not overweight I wouldn't worry!
Those toddler portion size posters made me panic when I realised my 12 month old eats more than that! She's been on the same centile since birth though.

DD1 absolutely loves eggs, which I've always been very grateful for. Has eggs every day for breakfast (she doesn't like cereal).

DS1 very nearly 3 ate a small bowl of cornflakes, cereal bar and some cashew nuts.
Lunch was half a marmite sandwich, a boiled egg (only ate the yolk) and half an apple.
He had two Bourbon biscuits at grandmas and small hot chocolate.
Dinner was 2 fish fingers, brocolli and parsnips.

I don't feel like he eats enough sometimes.

I think your DS eats a lot!

This was a really good day for DD (20 months), who has lately become very fussy. She ate:

A small bowl of porridge
Toast
A drop scone
Some pieces of cheese and a tiny amount of apple (lunch)
A good sized bowl of spaghetti bolognaise (full of veg), a little raw pepper
A yoghurt

She had 2 cups of cows milk and a breastfeed.

She also refused quite a lot - raspberries, banana, oatcakes (usually safe), broccoli (not even sure why I keep trying).

Mine ds had
Weetabix with handful of fruit and fibre
Toast and butter

Snack- banana

Lunch - 3/4 child plate of fish pie with grated carrot in white sauce; mash and spinach - the rest was duly thrown to the floor when apparently he had finished
Pud was yoghurt

Tea- slice of toast, cheddar (about enough for toast), chocolate digestive, grapes, apricot and cheeries.

Milk at wake up and bedtime

I don't think it's that well balanced as he prefers fruit to veg; doesn't eat sandwiches and any new foods I offer-he throws to the floor like some animal!!!

Half a slice of wholemeal toast dipped a few times in an egg.

A Froob.

A few slices of cucumber, nibble of lettuce, half a small chicken breast and a new potato.

My 2.7 DD is such a crap eater but she has tonnes of energy and no weight problems so I try not to worry but I get so jealous of toddlers who eat loads Envy

Yesterday and today both dc had porridge banana and yoghurt for breakfast.

Yesterday that was dd1 (3yo) pretty much done, I think she had a choc lolly in M&S , some chips and one marmite sandwich and that was it! Today she had marmite sandwich and pom bears for lunch, ice cream as we were out today, then mushroom chicken (half a thigh) and mashed potato for tea. It's more than she's eaten for days so I'm really pleased.
