Bottle feeding too much?

Hi
My four week old baby is feeding quite frequently; three hourly intervals at night (takes 3-4 ounces) and, at most, three hourly in the day. Often, she will only go 1-2 hours during mid-morning until early aft. According to formula guidelines, she is feeding too much. Am I best to keep demand feeding, give more ounces at some feeds (if so, do I increase scoops of formula?) or go onto hungry baby milk?
Thanks.

Hungry baby milk is waste of money.

Feed on demand. If your baby wants more, give them more X

I tend to feed on demand.

Is your lo finishing a bottle each time? If they finish a 4 oz bottle, on the next feed try a 5 (5 scoops formula 5 oz water). See how it goes.

I've never tried hungry baby milk but I think it's just thicker and takes a bit longer to digest which is why they go longer between feeds.

She usually has at least three ounces, but sometimes only one and it's hard to predict when that will be! I will try 5 scoops. X

If they finish each bottle add an extra ounce to each. Hungry milk has the same calories and isn't really designed for such a young baby as it is harder to digest

In your situation I used to keep some small cartons of ready made milk and make 4oz then give 2oz out of carton if needed, you can keep cartons in fridge for 24 hours I think?
