Vomiting after bottle?

My EBF 3 week old has one bottle of expressed milk a day. He has no issues switching from breast to bottle, has been happy with both since birth.

Lately however he quite often throws up what looks like his entire feed after the bottle. He doesn't do this after the boob, usually only possets small amounts.

We have a slow flow teat, feed him upright, hold bottle horizontally etc. I think he might just be taking in too much. Any tips??

We are having the same problem. We've found that spreading out the feed and not letting her guzzle too much in one go helps. We do about 10ml at a time with big gaps inbetween with her sitting up or lying upright on my chest so that the bottle takes about 20-30 minutes. It's been much better since we started doing this; she's still a bit sick sometimes but nowhere near as often or as much in volume. Good luck Flowers xx

I found holding bottle horizontally and frequent burping meant DS would bring up a lot of liquid. Have started feeding with bottle tipped back and full like you would do normally but swapping out every 10 mls or so for a dummy to let the milk hit his stomach and pace the feed that way. Early days but seems to have been a bit better.
