My three month old is breastfed on demand about 10-12 times a day. He takes a bottle without proved but has never had anything more than 2 oz at a time whether ebm or formula.
At six months ish I'd like to wean him off the breast as he moves to solids and give him ready made milk.
But I'd like to hold on to the morning and bedtime breastfeeds for the next couple of months after that and gradually wean him off around 8 months ish.
So while all this is 3 months away does anyone have any tips on how to do this? I know the standard advice is to begin with replacing a feed - but he's an all day snack guy so I am never sure what that feed is and he never has a tummy empty enough to actually take a full feed even of ebm
