Infant feeding

When does the evening cluster feeding end? Am getting slightly bored...

Ds2 is nearlyn7 weeks and a big fan of starting his evening cluster feeds at 7 pm on the dot just as his twins siblings go to bed. When do they typical ease off? Bit bored now and would like an hour in the evening to do something other than nip to the loo and feed the baby!

dd is 10 weeks and still cluster feeding all evening. If I remember rightly ds was around 12 weeks when he stopped by which time I was really losing the will to live ready for my evenings back.

12 weeks sounds depressingly familiar Nicky Beas hoping for a little bit sooner this time around given this baby has two boobs, not just one! He also has his second cold since he was born (DTS just started nursery) and first jabs next week. Arghhhhhhhh.

I'm taking advantage of it by making dp wait on me! I have a very numb bum by bedtime though!

My dd is 11 weeks. Evening cluster started to tail off for me last week. I managed to cook dinner and eat it without simultaneously feeding dd (eating not cooking!) it was sooooo nice!

Oh soon I'd say! My DD became much more settled in the evenings from 8 weeks onwards and that also coincided with her starting to be (slightly less) obsessed with cluster feeding. Hopefully it'll start to become a lot easier over the next few weeks. It's funny how, with hindsight and rather rose tinted, you miss having that excuse to sit on the sofa mumsnetting! I do remember at the time how it felt never ending though.

Oh was wondering exactly the same thing. DS is 7 weeks today and still cluster feeding. Was kind of hoping it would ease soon. But will keep going and as mentioned take advantage of being on the sofa all evening.
