DS is 11 months. We're in no rush for our bf journey to end but, when he comes off after a feed, I'm left with teeth marks where his 2 top teeth have been!! Not good ?? it stings a bit too.
Any tips on how to prevent this??

Are his teeth quite recently appeared? It can take a short while for them to adjust to the different mouth feel. In the meantime, I would really concentrate on a good latch, and de-latch and try again if it feels uncomfortable at all.

I was going to ask if his teeth are quite new too?

My dd has lots of teeth and she doesn't leave any marks. At least, not now she's got over her phase of using my nipples as teething rings.

Suppose they are quite recent. Last month maybe. Only noticed the teeth marks the last few days though...

You are lucky. Smile
I had to bring my bf journey to an abrupt end, once my 9mo baby boy decided whatever goes into his mouth he would clamp down on with his sharp front teeth, very firmly. He drew blood! I put up with it can u believe for like 4 days. But then that was it. Sippy cup for him. He was a bottle refused too so it was tumultuous but we made it.

Erm, so maybe I mean to say if it's not too bad for you don't worry about small marks.

Oh dear! Yes, we had a vampire incident. Just the one, thank goodness! Was pretty alarming seeing blood coming from my nipple!! He nips me occasionally now but not often.
